After updating the family of thin & light IdeaPad U330 and U340 , Lenovo does the same with the IdeaPad S210, S400 and S500 , less subtle than the others but still very comfortable to carry. The three models have not changed compared to its predecessors, either in terms of design or material or size but were instead updated only in the hardware platform, which now includes some processors Intel Haswell generation and as for the display, now touch-type interface to better support Windows 8.
Outwardly we find the same notebook from stylized lines and full flat, with a body by the metallic finishes, characterized by a minimum thickness of 20.3 mm and a starting weight 1.36 kg, and for the IdeaPad S400 and S210 that for l ‘ S500. The first has a diagonal of 11.6 inches , the second of 14 inches and the third of 15.6 inches , all with HD resolution, and now, of course, with multitouch screen. Within the other hand Lenovo will adopt the new latest-generation Intel Core, Core i3 ‘s Lenovo S210 Core i5 and for the other two, all available in different models. Also in the two larger notebooks will also be possible to add an optional dedicated video card, the IdeaPad S400 AMD and Nvidia for the S500. The maximum amount of RAM will instead equal in both cases to 8 GB.
The three laptops also have audio systems with support for Dolby Advanced Audio v2 and include a suite of proprietary features including Companion Lenovo, Lenovo and Lenovo Support Cloud , able to simplify the procedures for data sharing and resolution of any problems and malfunctions while OneKey Recovery makes it easy to backup your data or restore a system image. The Lenovo IdeaPad S210, S400 and S500 will be available in late summer, at a price equal to 429, 449 and 579 euro , obviously for the basic equipment.
