Chinese mobile processor maker company MediaTek has churned out MediaTek MT6753 that claims fo bring 64 bit computing to the masses. The MediaTek MT6753 is based on ARM Cortex A53 architecture and runs at clock speed of 1.2 GHz.
MediaTek MT6753 supports full HD displays, 4G LTE connectivity and up to 16 megapixel camera support. Recently launched H.265 format is also supported. Compatible radios include TD-LTE, FDD-LTE cat. 4, DC HSPA+, TD-SCDMA ed Edge and CDMA2000 1x/EVDO Rev.
The new processor aims for the US and European market which is a good news as the chip maker has only targeted Asian market till now. Expect MediaTek to ship this SoC in the second quarter of this year.
